REACH's Evidence-based Approaches for Systems Serving Youth (EASSY) programs give frontline staff in systems serving youth (including child welfare, foster care, juvenile justice, school clinics and primary care settings) hands-on, how-to-do-it training in identifying and treating children and teens with depression, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, aggression, bipolar disorder, or other undiagnosed but severe problems. Drawing upon our world-class clinical researchers and teachers, REACH's EASSY programs offer you and your staff comprehensive training in integrated methods, such as the combined use of screening and diagnostic methods, treatments, and family engagement and support interventions. These skills are often needed within school, mental health, child welfare and juvenile justice settings. Tailored to the needs of your city, state, agency, or health care organization, EASSY training can eliminate or significantly reduce ineffective, unsafe or inappropriate practices, improve outcomes, and decrease costs.
