Director of Communications and Marketing Health Literacy Missouri Ms. Roberts is a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer with 18 years of ongoing promotions in media and nonprofit communications management. She has won more than 40 state and national journalism awards, including the prestigious Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism and the National Headliner Award for stories about childhood mental health. In addition, she was awarded the highly coveted Rosalynn Carter Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism. She currently applies her extraordinary reporting and writing skills as the Director
of Communications and Marketing with her staff and co-workers at Health Literacy Missouri to generate high-content packages, and to promote health literacy.
Ms. Roberts completed her undergraduate degree in journalism at Arizona State University, and her Masters degree in Journalism at the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University. She is a member of the American Public Health Association and its Mental Health Team; Investigative Reporters and Editors; the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Health Literacy Institute Center for Health Policy, Planning & Research. |
