The REACH Institute was founded by Dr. Peter S. Jensen, a renowned expert in the field and author or editor of over a dozen books. Three of Jensen’s books, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: State of the Science – Best Practices; Towards a New Diagnostic System for Child Psychopathology; and the DSM-IV Casebook, are excellent volumes for professionals. All of these books bring together leading scientists and researchers from across the world to discuss the latest in child and adolescent mental health treatments. Dr. Jensen has also written other invaluable guides, one for parents whose child or children suffer from ADHD, "Making the System Work for Your Child with ADHD," and another for parents with a child or youth suffering from depression, "What Your Child’s Doctor Can’t Tell You About Teen Depression," Free Spirit Publishing, In Press.
