Suzanne Elizabeth Reiss, M.D.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist 

Dr. Suzanne Reiss is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who initially trained in pediatrics.  Her undergraduate training was at Williams College and she subsequently obtained her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College where she was awarded the Dean Marie Banes Prize in Pediatrics.  She trained at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, and completed her adult psychiatric training at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.

She worked at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, had a private practice in Media and Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania before working at Geisinger Medical Center in rural Pennsylvania.  At Geisinger she was an associate in the department of psychiatry and obtained funding for an integrated behavioral healthcare program in three pilot pediatric sites.  Shortly after receiving the grant, she relocated to Lexington, Massachusetts.  Her colleagues at Geisinger have continued the initiative and their work resulted in an award from the American Psychological Association. She currently is a REACH trainer in the PPP program.  Dr. Reiss lives in Lexington with her husband and has three grown children.
